June 28th

Today I looked into how I should pack things away in the SUV. I have a lot more room to work with than I had with the Honda civic. There should be ample space for bike, sleeping bag, and a cloth travel trunk. I like to have the trunk along in order to stow (conceal) such things as my laptop and camera. I might hit the road tomorrow, even if it might be a mid day departure.

I will log on as often as possible and post photos take along the way. My Nikon D70 hasn't had much use since the trip last fall.
